はじめまして！akarimoです。
キャンドルをご覧頂いてありがとうございます。

【暮らしに、あかりも。】
生活の色々なシーンでキャンドルを灯してほしい、
時間をかけて植物を育てるように、
ろうそくも自分の手で育ててほしい、
akarimoのろうそくは、そんな思いから生まれました。
日中は風景に溶け込むインテリアとして、
日が落ちてきたら美しく灯る道具として、ちゃんと使えるものを。
灯したあかりの効果もあいまって、
きっと素敵な時間になる、そんなろうそくを。

【こんなところがakarimoの特徴です。】
◆灯しやすい、灯した時に素敵！と思える形
円柱や球体は一見シンプルに見えますが、火を点けた時に一番しっくりくる形でした。色々試した結果辿り着いた形です。
2011年キャンドルコンテスト受賞作品。
◆こだわりの原料
原料のメインであるパラフィンは誤って食べてしまっても問題がない位、とても高度に精製された国産のものを使用しています。
芯は綿100％がメインです。一番ベストに燃えるよう、ろうそくの大きさ・種類に応じて何種類も使い分けています。
色づけは顔料を使っています。染料と比べて色移りせず、退色も遅いためです。
◆灯しきってしまってもまた使える
akarimoのろうそくは、灯すと表面を残し、内側が円柱状に減っていきます。
・ランタンとして使う
・プランターとして使う　土を入れても水を入れてもＯＫ
・また砕いて使う

お気に入りのキャンドルを手に入れたら、
そこからキャンドルとの生活が始まるわけです。

電気製品には出せない、自然のあかり。
風が吹けば揺らぐし、触れば熱いし、
倒せば蝋がこぼれる、爪を立てれば傷もつく。
扱い次第で、キャンドルは幾通りにもどんどん育っていく。

Handmade candles "akarimo"

For Your Life, "akarimo"
akarimo was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 2007.
I wanted people to use candles in various situations in their life.
I wanted people to "raise" candles like raising plants.
And that's what made me create the "akarimo" candles.

Features of akarimo
-Perfect shapes
I tried to create the perfect shape to emit a comfortable glow and found two, the cylinder and the sphere.

akarimo won a prize at the Candle Contest 2011.

I'm using high-quality domestic paraffine. even in case a small child ate it by mistake it is completely harmless.
Even though the wicks are mainly 100% made of cotton, I use different types of wicks depending on the function of the candles.

I only color the candles with natural pigment because it lasts longer compared to dye.

akarimo candle is recyclable!
Although the wax inside of the candle will melt, the surface will remain.

The surface can be used as:
- a lantern
-a planter
