アイヌが山の神と敬うヒグマの
手形をアイヌ紋様でデザインしました。
大きな肉球は、熊の横顔を表しています。
縄文土器のような曲線で、原始の素朴さを表現してみました。
　
うちの先祖のお話には、土器作りの上手な青年が登場します。
アイヌ文化は、擦文土器から繋がることは知っていますが、それより遥かに遡る縄文土器までも続いていくのでしょうか…
などと、ルーツに想いを馳せ、
アイヌ刺繍のイメージとも融合しながら描きました。

A brown bear that the Ainu worship as a mountain god
I designed the handprint with Ainu patterns.
The large paws represent the profile of the bear.
I tried to express primitive simplicity with curves like Jomon pottery.
　
A young man who is good at making pottery appears in the story of our ancestors.
I know that Ainu culture is connected to Satsumon pottery, but I wonder if it will continue to Jomon pottery, which goes much further back than that...
And so on, thinking about the roots,
I drew it while fusing with the image of Ainu embroidery.
